Dr. Glenn Pettifer

Glenn serves as the Registrar and CEO of the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario.  Prior to this appointment, he served as Registrar and CEO of the College of Denturists of Ontario, and Deputy Registrar and Senior Partner, Quality Practice at the College of Veterinarians of Ontario.   Glenn holds Certificates in Health Law from Osgood Hall Law School of York University and Strategic Management of Regulatory and Enforcement Agencies from Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard University.  He has also been awarded Certificates in Not for Profit and Public Sector Financial Literacy (Rotman School of Management), Non-Profit Board Consulting (BoardSource) and Advanced Dispute Resolution (Osgoode Hall York University). Glenn currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Network of Agencies of Regulation (CNAR), the Health Profession Regulators of Ontario, the Federation of Dental Hygiene Regulators of Canada and the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada.  In his strategic work, Glenn focuses on evidence-informed, accessible regulatory processes, for both the public and members of regulated professions, as primary drivers in public-interest focused health profession regulation.
