Paula Parsons a dedicated dental assisting educator, leader, and lifelong learner with nearly three decades of experience in the profession. A full-time instructor in the Dental Assisting program at Keyin College in Newfoundland for 29 years, Paula is passionate about teaching and mentoring the next generation of dental assistants.

Beyond the classroom, she has made significant contributions at the national and provincial levels. Paula has served on the NDAEB’s certification board since 1998, including terms as president, and currently sits on the board. She also serves full-time as the dental assistant representative for the Newfoundland and Labrador Dental Board.

Known as a steady and humble leader, Paula is deeply committed to volunteer service, professional development, and advancing dental assisting as a profession. She credits teaching as the foundation that opened doors to countless opportunities and continues to inspire others to step outside their comfort zones, pursue lifelong learning, and never stop growing.
