CDAC Accreditation Surveyors
Individuals participating in accreditation surveys must have a background in the discipline of the program being reviewed (dentistry, dental specialty, dental hygiene, or dental assisting). Surveyors are expected to have relevant clinical and/or educational experience and a working knowledge of learning outcomes and graduate competencies.
As a surveyor, you will:
- Evaluate educational programs against established accreditation standards and determine whether standards are met, exceeded, or not met
- Provide constructive quality-improvement recommendations and identify areas of commendation
- Compile, present, and document findings in an accreditation survey report for review by the Accreditation Review Committee in support of accreditation decisions
