CDAC Public Consultation Has Now Closed – Thank You for Your Participation
The public consultation period for the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada’s (CDAC) new Accreditation Standards for Oral Healthcare Education Programs is now closed.
We extend appreciation to everyone who took the time to review the draft standards and provide thoughtful feedback. Your input is invaluable and will play an important role in strengthening the standards and ensuring they continue to support high-quality oral health education across Canada.
What Happens Next?
Over the coming months, CDAC will carefully review and analyze all feedback received during the consultation. The Standards Committee and Working Groups will consider stakeholder comments and recommendations as the draft standards are refined and prepared for the next stage of development.
CDAC will also continue developing supporting resources, including a Guidance and Interpretation document, to assist programs and surveyors in understanding and applying the new outcomes-based standards. The development of these standards remains a collaborative process, and there will be additional opportunities for stakeholders to contribute as the project progresses.
We encourage you to stay connected for future updates, project milestones, and upcoming opportunities to participate in finalizing CDAC new accreditation standards. If you have any questions about the new standards, please contact:
- CDAC Office: 1-866-521-2322
- Email: [email protected]
Thank you once again for your continued support, engagement, and commitment to excellence in oral health education in Canada.
